Will it hold a laptop?
No. Anita is designed for everyday carry wallet, phone, sunglasses, a book, a notebook. If you need a laptop bag, look at Mars or the Everyday Tote

Is it dressy or casual?
Both. The shape is slouchy and casual. The leather sparkles when light catches it. She works with jeans and a t-shirt, and she works with a slip dress.

How heavy is it?
Light. The lambskin is the softest leather we work with and the bag is unstructured, which keeps the weight down. Around 600g empty.

Will the weave hold up over time?
Yes. The leather is woven by hand and stitched at every cross-point. It's designed to take daily wear. The shine on the snakeskin finish will mellow with use, which is the version of her we love most.

Does it fit on the shoulder, or is it crossbody?
Shoulder. The strap drop is about 25cm. Worn close to the body, sits under the arm.

What if it scratches?
The snakeskin finish is more textured than a smooth leather, so small marks are less visible. Most scratches blend into the weave. For deeper marks, hit reply and we'll talk you through it.

Can it be used in the rain?
Yes, but dry her off when you get home. The leather is treated, but no leather loves a soaking. If she gets fully wet, let her air-dry at room temperature, not in front of a fan or heat

Why is she more expensive than your other bags?
The weave. Each Anita takes hours longer to make than our smooth-leather bags, because every strip is cut, woven, and stitched by hand. That's most of the price difference.

How do I clean her?
