Will it keep its shape when it's full?
Yes. It's semi-structured, so it stands up on its own without being stiff, and the sides expand with the drawstring when you need the room and pull back in when you don't.

Won't it sag over time?
Not in the way a soft tote does. The structure comes from the pattern and the weight of the leather rather than from board or interfacing, so it settles and softens without collapsing.

What leather is it?
Full grain, which means the outermost layer of the hide is left intact instead of sanded down. It's the strongest part of the leather, and it's why the bag darkens and softens with use rather than cracking or peeling.

Will it scratch?
It will, and then it will settle. Small marks blend into the grain within a few weeks of normal use.
